Who It Is For

Any person who works in the water jetting industry involved in the safe cleaning and preparation of surfaces such as steel, concrete etc.

Candidates must have successfully completed Operational Safety Awareness before attending this practical module.

  • Candidates whose Safety Awareness certification is in date

Candidates must successfully complete Operational Safety Awareness before attending this practical module.

Complete the Surface Preparation module

Candidates attend and successfully complete the Surface Preparation practical module. 

Step 3

Receive an operational card

Candidates who successfully complete Safety Awareness and the Surface Preparation module can be issued a UKWJA operational card. 

Additional note: UKWJA training must be refreshed every three years. Further modules can be added while the candidate’s Safety Awareness certification remains in date.
