Who It Is For

Any person who carries out practical field works within the drainage sector both domestic and or commercial/industrial.

Candidates must have successfully completed Operational Safety Awareness before attending this practical module.

  • Operatives involved in drains and sewer jetting operations.
  • Candidates who have passed Operational Safety Awareness
  • Candidates whose Safety Awareness certification is in date

Step 1

Complete Safety Awareness

Candidates must successfully complete Operational Safety Awareness before attending this practical module. 

Step 2

Complete the Drains & Sewer module

Candidates attend and successfully complete the Drains and Sewer practical module. 

Step 3

Receive an operational card

Candidates who successfully complete Safety Awareness and the Drains and Sewer module can be issued a UKWJA operational card. 

Additional note: UKWJA training must be refreshed every three years. Further modules can be added while the candidate’s Safety Awareness certification remains in date.
