High-pressure water jetting
Safest techniques such as robotic systems, semi-automated systems and manual gun works
Concrete applications
Structural work
Requires machine with an output of 10,000psi at least for the practical
Mix of theory and practical works
Operational Safety Awareness required
Safety Awareness certification must be in date
Supports the operational card pathway
Further modules can be added as required
Refresher training every three years
Hydro-demolition is a practical module. Candidates must successfully complete Operational Safety Awareness before attending.

Step 1
Complete Safety Awareness
Candidates must successfully complete Operational Safety Awareness before attending this practical module.
Step 2
Complete the Hydro-demolition module
Candidates attend and successfully complete the Hydro-demolition practical module.
Step 3
Receive an operational card
Candidates who successfully complete Safety Awareness and the Hydro-demolition module can be issued a UKWJA operational card.
Additional note: UKWJA training must be refreshed every three years. Further modules can be added while the candidate’s Safety Awareness certification remains in date.
